Bill Ganz Western Band Since 1992, the Bill Ganz Western Band has kept authentic Western music alive in one of the places of its origin, Tucson, Arizona. While paying tribute to the golden age of the singing cowboy, the band brings to mind songs that seem to speak to all of us, even those from "back East." Since appearing with the Tucson Symphony Orchestra last year, a new legion of fans has come to a renewed appreciation of this most American music. The band, which includes Ralph Gilmore, Rich Brennion and Bill Ronstadt, will kick off the Center's 2011/2012 Performing Arts Series on Friday, November 11, at 7:30pm. |

The TSO Piano Trio, one of the stellar ensembles from the Tucson Symphony Orchestra, will perform on Friday, January 20, at 7:30pm. Featuring Paula Fan, principal keyboardist, the trio will play from the beautiful and dynamic repertoire for piano, violin and cello. Season tickets for the 6-concert series are currently available for $90; individual tickets may be purchased for $20. |

Acoustic Eidolon will return to Tubac on Friday, February 3, at 7:30pm. Hannah Alkire, cello, and Joe Scott, on a double-necked guitar, make simply beautiful music. The sound is unique, exquisite and accomplished in the hands of these charming and delightful performers. |

Featuring the incomparable Beth Lederman on piano, Jazz Con Alma will perform on Friday, February 24, at 7:30pm. Beth in joined by a group of equally talented musicians for a night of outstanding Latin jazz that is passionate, sophisticated and very easy on the ears.

On Friday, March 9, at 7:30pm, Christine Vivona and husband Rob Boone combine their talents for a night of the unique sound of harp and trombone. Although not a typical jazz duo, Christine and Rob have found an exciting blend that showcases two incredible musicians.

The Theatrical Mime Theatre, a Tucson-based ensemble, will perform on Friday, March 23, at 7:30pm. This group is dedicated to the development, documentation and performance of new works, some serious, some comic, and give a whole new meaning to this art form. |
